I usually rent a truck and move myself, but this time I decided to enlist the assistance of professionals.From the time I requested/received the emailed quote to the time the doors closed on the truck at the end of the move I received nothing but quality customer service. Aaron explained the estimate and quote then answered all my questions via phone and email. I also requested a free in-home estimate just to ensure everything was clear. I used Eager Beaver for the second time and I was not disappointed. There was ample communication before moving day to ensure I was prepared. The crew showed up early, and although they were short-handed, still did the job within the estimated time. Everything arrived safely, and the movers were very careful and skilled at navigating angles and dealing with heavy antique furniture. The crew were friendly and made the move a breeze. I received a phone call a couple of days before our move to verify all the details and offer packing materials if we needed any.The crew: Jason, Jasper and Roman did a fantastic job. Right from my first call to explain the help I needed, Eager Beaver was professional, thorough, and accommodating. Booking was seamless and the estimate they provided was clear and precise. 2024 update: Had some furniture delivered by Finesse furniture through Eager Beaver. Kostya and Dima were so great to work with, they brought in two 180lb credenzas through the house and took one of them upstairs. They moved existing furniture away for us and reinstalled TVs etc. Very professional and friendly service from these two guys!My wife and I hired Eager Beaver Moving as recommended by a friend and couldn't be happier after our experience yesterday. For context we moved from a 2bd apartment to a 3bd house and have never hired movers, just had friends and family help us throughout or previous moves. We put aside some money and now feel like these guys were worth every penny.The guys at Eager Beaver couldn't have been more professional, efficient, thoughtful, friendly and hardworking throughout our 4-5 hour move. We literally didn't have to lift a finger when they moved our boxes out of our apartment. And when we got to our new house they just needed direction as to where our boxes and furniture was to go. We just watched them run up and down stairs dropping off all our stuff in the exact rooms we wanted them. They even dismantled and reassembled our bedframe and set it up for us. They also took items such as old electronics, tires and general random junk to the ecostation for us (for a reasonable extra charge). This was a huge convenience for us after a week of packing and sorting out what we didn't want to keep.They wrapped all our furniture (couches, mirrors, TVs etc.) in blankets so there was no chance for damages to occur. We were blown away at how stellar their service was and couldn't have imagined how seamless well this move would go.Special shout out to MJ, Mike and Jared, our movers for the day, thank you for being so accommodating, friendly, hardworking and helpful!Best moving experience we've ever had! Highly recommend! Spend a little extra money on these guys to make your moving-in experience first class! You won't regret it, guaranteed!

We had an amazing experience with Eager Beaver Moving. Chris and his team were very friendly and amazingly efficient. The final invoice, which was reviewed in detail at the end of the job was perfectly in line with the original estimate. If you choose to do the packing on your own, I highly recommend you buy their Box Bundles, prior to your move. It comes with wrapping paper and bubble wrap, which were incredibly convenient. They were recommended by my Realtor and we will use them again for our long-distance move this Spring.

2 years later and this move went equally as well! Keegan and his crew were awesome and worked very hard for us. If I had one complaint it would be; if possible to have clean floor protection for each move. Ended up with so much dirt and dog hair from other peoples homes now all over ours. It maybe is too much to ask though. Very few scuffs and scratches on the walls for moving such large heavy items.Local move with two pick up locations and one end location. We had them move our daughter and another household and it went very smoothly. We have had professional movers move us approximately 6 times over the years and even though this was a smaller move it was one of the most straightforward. They quoted an hourly rate and the number of hours was pretty much exactly what they quoted. Communication was good from beginning to end. Movers were friendly and careful. Would recommend.

Using Eager Beaver to help my senior parents move was great. They stepped in last minute to take over when other plans fell through. The movers were familiar with the seniors residence which made things simple. They set all the furniture right in place and used roll out mats to keep the floors and carpets clean. Hired Eager Beaver for both packing and moving. Previously, I’ve used another big Edmonton moving company but lately had found their services lacking.EB’s packing team (Jason, Darin, Ed) were friendly and fun, working hard throughout the day to make the next day move more smooth.The move couldn’t have gone better. A team of 4 (Keegen, Faron, Ricky, and Ed) showed up on time and had the same great work ethic all day long as they smoothly moved to our new place. Excellent experience. The movers were professional, prompt and very capable. Estimate was very accurate. Won’t be the cheapest but very competitive. Worth it to know your stuff is in good hands. Able to assemble almost all furniture too.

We had to move on short notice and were happy to find availability at Eager Beaver. They handled the highway distance and the cold temperatures with no issues or comment.A cheerful crew showed up and covered our floors to protect them. They didn't mind our "supervision" or directions, and worked with us to protect all our belongings.At the destination, there was an elevator, a long hallway, a fire door and 3 stairs. It looked complicated and annoying to me, but everything was handled with professionalism and a smile. We really appreciated the crew checking with us about any furniture that needed assembly.Everything is here and in one piece. The perfect result. Highly recommend.

We used Eager Beaver this weekend to move our entire home into a storage unit. The customer service and professionalism was unmatched to any other company we have used in the past. There was a discrepancy in the date of our move and Graham quickly had a new crew ready for the following date and charged us the weekday rate. Thanks for a job well done.We now used this company a second time in 10 months and what an amazing experience again. We had Keegan, Faron and James and they we lovely.
