Booking their services was a breeze—I requested a quote online and received a call from their office the next day. The staff was friendly, easy to work with, and answered all my questions thoroughly, making the process smooth from the start.
On moving day, the crew arrived right on time at 8:30 AM (within the 8:30-9:00 AM window) and got to work immediately. They worked steadily and efficiently, carefully handling all our belongings. They took extra care to protect delicate items like our TV, sit-stand desk, and coffee table. Picking up everything from our old place was quick and seamless—even when we added more items than originally quoted, they accommodated them without hesitation.
They were also mindful of our home, laying down protective carpets to keep dirt and snow out. One of the most impressive moments was when they figured out how to move a solid wood, 6-ft-tall bookshelf up to our second floor—a tricky challenge they solved within minutes!
Nathan, Roman, and Nick were incredibly polite and friendly, introducing themselves individually when they arrived. Throughout the move, they regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was placed correctly and that we were happy with their service.
Not only did they complete the move under the quoted price, but we also found the pricing to be very fair for the level of service provided. This was our first time hiring movers, and it was an excellent experience—we’ll definitely keep Eager Beaver Moving Company in mind for future moves and happily recommend them to family and friends!
Our relationship with Eager Beaver started almost a year ago with a referral from friends. The office staff were helpful, efficient and responsive to our changing needs and timelines. We were downsizing from a large rural property to a smaller older home in the city.
The first move was in September 2024 - the pod arrived and Eric, Dmytro and Bailey basically took over the scene and within a matter of hours we were closing the door and locking the pod. The pod was sent to Eager Beaver's secure storage yard. Even my piano was gently and expertly moved, and stored in a heated unit while we spent the next 5 months renovating our 'older' city house.
Then at the end of February 2025, the truck rolled up and out came all of our belongings - again unloaded efficiently in a matter of hours and in perfect condition. This time the team was Allan, Roman and Mike.
I can't say enough about the calm, responsive and highly personable teams that we worked with on the move out and on the move back in. The care and attention to every item was remarkable i.e.: every piece of furniture was wrapped in a moving blanket. Brandt and Reilly in the office were only a phone call away, the digital platform used to video-estimate and manage documents was very user friendly, the estimate and final costs were accurate and there was no damage to any of our newly painted walls, doors, etc. How they managed to get some of the larger items down our tiny staircase I'll never know!!
Bottom line - I would highly recommend Eager Beaver for your next move!!

Great, easy move today. The crew of Kostya, Dima and Bogdan arrived on time and they did a great job. They came well prepared with lots of small wheeled dollies that made moving the furniture to the elevator/moving truck and then into my garage really easy. I used eager beaver to move from a basement unit to an apartment in Edmonton in January and they made it super smooth with no damage to the walls or furniture. The entire process was really easy and the actual move in was super fast! Thank you to Roman Jay and Tony and also the moving estimator Brant who followed up on my emails very quickly! It was a little expensive but I’m glad I went with them.

Kostya and Artem brought a second truck to move our beds (6 of them) so that we would have a place to sleep! They were amazing! They were efficient and friendly.
