My partner and I have used Eager Beaver three times now, and every experience has been excellent.
We were originally scheduled to move on a Friday, but after our home unexpectedly flooded, we had to move the date up by four days. The team was incredibly accommodating and made the whole process so much easier during an already stressful time.
The move was estimated at around three hours but ended up taking over six, entirely because we had accumulated so much more furniture and belongings since our last move. Despite the extra work, the crew never complained. They were kind, professional, personable, and knowledgeable from start to finish.
One thing that really stood out was hearing the crew check in with each other at one point during the move to make sure everyone was doing okay. It was such a small thing, but it showed genuine teamwork and respect among the staff.
I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I never felt stressed because I knew we were in good hands. The service was absolutely worth it, and I would highly recommend Eager Beaver to anyone looking for a moving company.

We recently sold our house and used Eager Beaver to move our items into storage. The quote process was easy and the rep they sent out was professional and detailed. The 3 person crew showed up on time. They worked hard and fast while taking care of our items. They were extremely transparent throughout the entire process. Great customer service from start to finish! They got back to us same day with questions to firm up a quote, and on move day Dustin’s team were fantastic. They arrived right on time, got to work and worked about 11.5 hours until everything was where we wanted. We had fresh paint and they did a great job minding the walls, very skilled and efficient. From initial inquiries, to booking, to the actual move, the whole procedure was smooth and handled professionally. Riley was my initial contact as I researched how best to move an awkward power reclining loveseat from my mom's place to my own. All questions were answered with ample detail - I knew that I'd found the right people for the job.
When the right timeframe arrived, I called and talked to Riley again. He was able to find a time that worked for me and walked me through the process. Instead of just putting down a deposit I opted to pay the whole amount via eTransfer - receiving, signing, and paying the estimate/invoice was easy.
On the day the loveseat was to be moved, I received reminders including a message that the movers would be arriving in 23 minutes - that was very accurate and very appreciated as it gave me a timeline in which to finish preparations.
Andrew and Austin (the appropriately nick-named "A-Team" ) arrived punctually and impressed me with their affable, polite, and professional manner. They were very efficient with disassembling, wrapping, and removing the loveseat from Mom's condo. On arrival at my own place, they easily got the loveseat to its new spot and reassembled it - it worked perfectly!
Not only were they efficient with their time, they showed great care and respect for all the spaces through which they moved, removing footwear as needed or laying mats or communicating every movement effectively with each other. It was a pleasure to watch such teamwork in action and a relief to not have to do this work myself.
I very much appreciate how Eager Beaver's team helped me with this move. We definitely will use their services again.

As a senior making a big move, I was a little nervous about the process, but the crew made everything so easy. The truck and team arrived right on time, and they immediately got to work. Burly Boyz took my deposit and accepted my move on February 14th 2020. As I waited for them to arrive I got a call that they did not have available drivers! I was shocked. Everything was packed and I paid my deposit well in advance. BTW I still have not got the deposit back. These Burly Boyz are not to be trusted.
After 4 panicked calls to movers for Feb 14th, Eager Beaver Moving delivered! They were fast and professional and I could not stop tipping them. I was so damned grateful for what they did for me last minute. These people are awesome. Burly Boyz NEVER. Eager Beaver Moving saved me. Thanks so much!!!

We had this company provide our move services on February 11. Moving from our long time home in Edmonton to an apartment in Sherwood Park was a daunting task for us. We had an outstanding move with the crew from Eager Beaver today! Dustin, Roman, Austin and Dima were amazing movers and so friendly throughout the service. They were incredibly efficient, we were blown away at their speed and how well they handled every item, including some heavy and tough items. It was freezing rain off and on making less than ideal conditions but the weather did not slow this crew down one bit. The guys were great at their job and everything was moved in an amazing manner. We are absolutely thrilled with the service that Austyn, Jared, Artem, Jackson and Tanner provided us for our move from Edmonton to St. Albert today. They took so much care in protecting our walls, railings, stairwells, and furniture during each stage of the move. Everyone was super polite, had great attitudes and worked hard during the 6.5 hrs of active time it took to move our 2300 sq ft house.
Compared to the last move that we had with an independent company, it was literally a night and day difference. I’m really glad I went with my sister’s recommendation. Moving is a slog but hiring Eager Beaver made it that much easier and less stressful. I *really* hope we never have to move again, but if we do, we would definitely hire this team all over again!

Amazing from start to finish! They arrived on time and were more prepared than I was. I had underestimated my amount of boxes (by a lot) and they were able to fit everything into the truck and then some! Took great care of our belongings and it was amazing to see how well they can pack that truck! Each large item was individually wrapped so they all arrived safe. Great to see everyone working as a team and got the job done as efficiently as possible.

Was quite impressed with service from the Eager Beaver team. We ran out of time to pack all of the odd-shaped miscellaneous items before the team arrived, but they helped us get everything into large wardrobe boxes and onto the truck, ensuring those items were moved as well. The movers were polite, asking permission to use the facilities, and keeping us informed about breaks and their status. Our move was large and needed extra support to complete, but the team handled it well and remained in good spirits most of the day. They were kind with our kitty who was present during the move as well. Our items arrived safely with only a few minor scratches to one shelving unit and they were placed in their proper rooms upon arrival. The quote provided pre-move was accurate and reasonable. Our move took almost two hours longer than quoted and the cost was still the same as anticipated. Thanks Eager Beaver for getting us to our new home!

Excellent moving service! Keegan, John, and Micky were an awesome crew- they provided great customer service and took great care of our belongings- they used TV boxes and wrapped the fancier furniture with extra care.
